Research the benefits children

I think if I possessed the means and the knowledge to conduct research that would benefit children and families on any topic in the early childhood education field it would be rather children who attend preschool perform better academically than those children who did not attend preschool.  I believe that if the results from the data showed a statistically significant increase in academic scores from children who attended preschool opposed to those children who didn’t it would be beneficial in getting parents to become aware of the importance of preschool.  Parents would be more likely to enroll their children in preschool and be actively involved with their children’s road to academic success.  It would also be beneficial in getting state legislature to fund and make preschool mandatory for all children with the exception of those children being home schooled.

  1. It is very important for young children to attend preschool; preschool has a lot of benefits for children such as; helping children to share and interact with other children, and Young children learn social skills when they interact with other children. These social skills are critical to a developing personality and I would not dismiss them lightly. Parents also should look into a good qualified day care center, so children can be prepared for kindergarten. Parents should interview and observe before placing their child.

  2. Thank you for the nice comments on my blog Towanda! I am blessed but I will always solicit your prayers and encouragement! My mother and my sister live very busy lives as we do!!!! I love the content of this post Towanda! I would say that children that attended preschool does perform higher than those that did not.But I will say this have you seen some of these home school mommy blogs lately? They are awesome and their children are receiving quality instruction yet they will lack social skills if they are not interacting with other children that are in the same age bracket.

  3. This is very important topic to research. Lack of awareness of benefit of preschool is a major factor that makes parents keep their children at home instead of enrolling them. Getting informed through research outcome will go a long way in convincing them.social skill that interections in preschool offers is benefitial to children even in academic work

  4. WOW Towanda! Very good topic. There are millions of opinions about this topic, but personally I feel that children who attend preschool perform better. Not only do they perform better academically, but they perform better socially.
